Numerological was started by Gary Dewey, who is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Member of the Chartered Management Institute.

The company has been borne out of his first hand experiences, in the purchase, ownership and disposal of a property in Spain. Gary found it to be extremely difficult and very frustrating to understand and practically adhere to all the tax requirements of the non-resident property owner in Spain.

Therefore, following the disposal of his first property in June 2005, Gary started to analyse the Spanish tax system purely for the non-resident property owner, in order to understand the various taxes and requirements, and determine how it could be managed more effectively.

Through this process, came the idea for Numerological, on the basis that this service could be beneficial to all non-resident property owners in Spain.


Although there are accountants, lawyers and gestors in Spain, and a number of overseas specialist tax consultancies in London, there is no UK based company providing a specialist tax service for non-residents with properties in Spain.

We believe that there are great advantages in using a UK based service, rather than a Spanish based equivalent.
  • We are English, and therefore can discuss your situation and the Spanish tax implications in terms you will understand.

  • The quality of our service will be measured against UK Standards - which can often be much higher than Spain - especially in terms of efficiency and timeliness.

  • You will be able to contact us during normal office hours in the UK – and will be able to email at any time, and receive a response within 24 hours.

  • BUT, we do not charge the excessive fees that other UK accountants and lawyers will charge.
